First topic message reminder :

i hereby claim this section of the forums for my own.

this section is for discussion of talent builds, debates, or even general question answer about the hunter class.

currently the top 2 builds i see are marks and survival. however,

for marks i personally believe piercing shots in markmanship is a waste of talent points.

in my gear set raid buffed i could easily have 65% crit
the duration of bleed is 8 seconds and is not stacking.
debuff is refreshed on average every 2 seconds when i tested it.
dmg ticks for practically nothing and has been known to overide itsself.

i would think 3 in imp tracking for 3% more dmg overall would be a better choice

The dps jump from agility to armor pen is fairly huge, a good 30%+. For example, if you do 3500 dps on Brut. as marks with imp arcane shot, you should do ~3500 * 1.3 = ~4550 with armor pen spec and gear. That's 1050 DPS!

Hmmmm.... I'm thinking about it.

According to Kuzii's damage against Brut it made a huge difference. Therefore, I'm going to go ahead and change my gems to ArP so long as my crit doesnt slip below 40% unbuffed.
I'm thinking I should be able to swap out 2, maybe 3 more gems.
