| So this is what I am working on for Sukai at the moment. I am not sure how reliable this website is, but for some reason I feel like my numbers are a bit lackluster.... Please share your thoughts and your builds!

| Pretty sure my ordinary fireballs already do over 10k with crit + ignite. Does that count? Besides that, my main concerns with this post is gear. There is little room for creativity for Fire PvE at 70. | |

| You have too much hit imo, you should only need 13% because we have a ton of draenei, and a moonkin/SP is 3% more hit. You could replace the 3 SP hit gems with pure SP. | |

Although I find my SP kind of low I also think that my crit seems very low as well (I am wondering if this stuff is actually even calculating things correctly). I think what I need to do is come up with a hit set because I currently do not find the extra 4% hit from raid comps to be a constant or consistent thing in our guild, that is why I am aiming for a little more hit in that setup. Without one of those extra hit sources, hit would make up more damage than ~30 spell power would. If I were to regem some of those hit gems I feel like I should do sp/crit gems, instead. Mage hear has a ton of yellow sockets with +SP socket bonuses. I would only probably get ~15-20 SP for those three 23 SP gems.

| Gemming for crit is bad. You get like 16% fire crit from fire spec IIRC and glyph of fireball is 5% fireball crit right? Get the staff off Felmyst and throw a few 20 hit gems in it to get you to 17%, personally I wouldn't bother with socket bonuses except when tryin to get your meta, because the socket bonuses were itemized to be used with old BC epic gems.
You should also take into consideration raid buffs/consumables/totems; and does molten armor give crit from spirit at this level?
You already have 37% without scorch, that's 47% then moonkin is 52% then totem of wrath is 55%

| You are right that I have largely omitted the idea of raid buffs. For some reason I feel as if I should have OP stats without them.
Molten Armor does provide crit through spirit at all levels but I do not have glyph of fireball. I am using the ones for Living Bomb and Molten Armor.
One of the reasons why I have so much hit rating is that I am wearing Loop of Forged Power. I could instead pick up Band of the Eternal Sage which would give me a SP proc and more crit. That would cost me 30 haste rating though which is another stat I feel I am low on. Blah.
As far as the socket bonuses, some of them are definitely not worth considering, for example, almost all of Júrei's socket bonuses are for mp5 which is something I do not need at all (he never goes oom) so I just gem straight SP. Most of Sukai's sockets are red with a few yellow scattered around with accompanying socket bonuses of +SP ranging from +2 to +5. For example, regemming Sukai's chest with another Runed Cardinal Ruby instead of a 12sp/10crit (or haste or hit) gem would give her SIX more spell power. Six spell power vs 10 crit rating? Think I would take the crit rating to get closer to 50% self buffed. I could see putting a Runed Cardinal Ruby in her boots or other sockets that only have +2 SP as a socket bonus.
In short, I feel that not all classes have such straightforward stat requirements.

| Yeah I felt the same way when I made Jamble's BiS stam set. I was hoping to have like 30k unbuffed with commanding(lol). I ended up 5k short of that. | |

So I just removed two SP/Hit gems and replaced them with SP/Haste and I ended up with exactly 13%. I guess I will just go that route. I am really thinking that if I find myself short of any stat once in full BiS it will be haste. I guess I can always change those last couple of gems once I figure it out though.

From my experience, you'll get to the point where you have so much haste, and so much crit that you're going to OOM on boss fights. No matter your stats, full spellpower should give you the most overall benefit
